The Denver region has it’s share of severe weather throughout the entire year. We’re in both “tornado alley” and “hail alley,” and we average more than 5 feet of snow per year. Some of our severe weather leads to the need for a new roof, but some of it limits when we can work.

Roof replacement can be needed after one of our frequent tornadoes, or even just a strong wind storm.

In the 60 years between 1950 and 2010, Colorado averaged more than 30 tornadoes a year! Often, our region gets wind gusts exceeding 100 MPH. Most older asphalt roofing-systems are designed for winds only up to 90 or 110 MPH.

However, the largest cause (more than $25 million annually) of damage requiring a new roof is hail. Even with thousands of roofers in the Denver area, there is sooooo much work to be done …  we can’t possibly do it all in the “warm” months.

Some areas of the Front Range have limitations on when you can install shingles weighing less than 240 pounds per square. We do not use these inferior shingles. With superior shingles, we can install a roof replacement any day your roof is dry.
